Good condition, with just insignificant surface wear to the underside. The colour is slightly less orange-yellow than in the catalogue photo.

此黃料瓶形制秀雅，色澤明艷， 展現十八世紀料器製作工藝之精卓。因雍正帝獨具慧眼，熱忱青睞，大力資助，遂清宮造辦處玻璃廠匠人得以將料器之形與色完美融合，亦造就了雍正年間料器製作之蔚然大觀。據清檔載，雍正十三年（1735年），所製料器量近千餘（參見 Emily Byrne Curtis 著，《Pure Brightness Shines Everywhere. The Glass of China》，奧爾德肖特，2004年，頁74）。

此類黃料紙槌小瓶罕有，仇焱之及葉義醫生遞藏一類例，曾兩次售於香港蘇富比，分別於 1981年5月19日，編號608及1984年11月19日，編號85。此形雍正年款小料瓶，見其它色例，一紫料瓶，藏於北京故宮博物院，載張榮著《光凝秋水．清宮造辦處玻璃器》，北京，2004年，圖版7，另見一仿雄黃料瓶，圖版26；亦有一紅料瓶例，為李景勳典藏，展於《虹影瑤輝：李景勳藏清代玻璃》，香港中文大學文物館，2000年，編號40。
