the deep rounded sides supported on a low square-cut foot, rising to a sharp flared rim with a straight narrow outer edge, the smoothly polished stone of spinach-green colour figured with black specks and streaks of lighter grey, wood stand

Condition
The bowl is in overall good condition. There are minute nicks to rim and foot, with an area of approx. 2.5 cm polished down to conceal an earlier neck. There is also pitting to the stone. The catalogue illustration is slightly brighter than the actual colour of the stone.
