明萬曆 鬪彩纏枝花卉紋盌 《大明萬曆年製》款

with deep rounded sides rising from a gently tapered foot to a flared rim, painted to the interior with a central medallion enclosing leafy tendrils wreathed around a floral bloom formed from iron-red stamens enclosed within turquoise trefoil leaves, all encircled by double-line borders repeated at the rim, the exterior decorated with similar floral blooms borne on an undulating foliate scroll above a ruyi band, the rim bordered by a foliate chevron border, inscribed to the base with a six-character reign mark within a double circle

盌外壁飾纏枝花卉紋，清麗雅緻，應宗奉成化鬪彩之原形。萬曆帝珍慕成化鬪彩瓷器，因此被視為珍貴。見一渣斗，紋飾甚為相似，應為靈感之源，藏華盛頓弗爾美術館，曾展於《Ming Porcelain in the Freer Gallery of Art》，華盛頓，1953年，編號23。

萬曆鬪彩器物如鳳毛麟角，一相似例為 H.M. Knight 及趙從衍舊藏，曾展於《明清景德鎮瓷器 - 趙氏基金收藏》，香港藝術館，1978年，編號40，前後三次於倫敦蘇富比拍賣，最近一次2002年11月13日，編號113。相同紋飾亦見於一青花盤，此盤帶萬曆年款，為 Raymond F.A. Riesco 收藏，見 Edgar E. Bluett，《The Riesco Collection of Old Chinese Pottery and Porcelain》，倫敦，1951年，圖版52；另一見不落年款的鬪彩渣斗，售倫敦佳士得1990年12月10，編號151，被定為正德年製。

此紋樣亦見於雍正鬪彩器，見一盌售倫敦蘇富比1989年12月12日，編號467，後再售香港佳士得1993年3月23日，編號810；一書成化年製偽款的鬪彩盤，錄 A.D. Brankston，《Early Ming Wares of Chingtechen》， 北京，1938年，圖版 45 （右上）。
