with shallow rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a flared rim, intricately painted to the interior with a central medallion enclosing Shoulao standing before a crane under a gnarled pine tree with an attendant beside in a garden landscape with colourful scrolling clouds, the cavetto with a foliate meander bearing lingzhi heads supporting stylised shou characters, painted to the exterior with eight floral sprays between a band of swirls and a double-line border, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double circle

The dish is in very good condition except for a shallow flake to the mouthrim on the exterior at around 12 o'clock position; the associated firing stain on the rim suggests it could be a firing flaw or have evolved from a firing burst bubble.

本品釉彩精美，風格鮮明。從屬一類青花或五彩瓷，其繪道家仙人於中，外圍以串枝靈芝捧壽字紋。一極近作例，可資比對，售於香港蘇富比1976年5月12/13日，編號60。

一風格類似盤例，藏於台北國立故宮博物院，尺寸略大，盤內繪福祿壽三星，錄《故宮彩瓷·明彩瓷》，香港，1966年，卷3，編號107；另有北京故宮博物院藏例，繪神仙騎驢圖案，載《中國陶瓷全集·明》，上海，1999年，卷13，圖版117，同錄一例，藏於北京首都博物館，圖版116；另見兩類盤，展於《爐火純青·嘉靖及萬曆官窰瓷器》，香港大學美術博物館，香港，2009年，圖版114及115。
