There is a 'C'-shaped flake of 2 by 0.5 cm to the mouthrim on the interior and 2 by 0.3 cm to the exterior, touched up but with a small flake to the filling, at around 4 o'clock. There are two hairline cracks to the rim, one of 2 cm at 7 o'clock and another of 2.5 cm at 11 o'clock.

淺盌造型在油滴盌中不為多見，玫茵堂藏一尺寸稍小例，錄康蕊君，《玫茵堂藏中國陶瓷》，卷１，倫敦，1994年，編號469。其中筆者提到，山東淄博窰曾出土類似盌造型的油滴盌，見頁258。
