李婷婷憑藉自己的首個《靜物》畫展榮獲2007年北京今日美術館金獎，這是一個重要轉折點，藝術家受到鼓勵後全心開始追求自己的藝術事業。此作包含十二幅畫板，是迄今為止李婷婷最大型的作品，是她早期藝術探索的代表作，選取日常生活中的平凡物件，卻以大膽的筆觸入畫。李婷婷嫻熟運用水墨，乾濕濃淡的墨色均信手拈來，而粉色的運用與詩意的構圖為作品注入青春活力，更是對消費型社會的一則側面評論。
