The work is in overall good condition. The paint layers are intact and free of discoloration, and the canvas is taut. There are very minor signs of wear around the edges, but this is largely due to age and does not detract from the quality of the piece. Under ultraviolet light inspection there are no signs of retouching. Framed in an original Vietnamese black lacquer frame from that period.
