明末至清初 黃花梨大案屏

the mitred frame constructed of rectangular form with a removable central panel, with uprights planted into the shaped stretchers carved with dragon motifs and decorated with openwork spandrels, flanking a horizontal rectangular panel enclosing a lobed cartouche reticulated with coiling dragons, above a curvilinear-shaped apron fitted at an angle on both sides and carved in low relief with sinuous dragons and lingzhi stems

There are bruises to the extremities, especially the feet. Other minor bruises, chips and general surface wear. The frame is removable.

這具特大插屏式案屏格角攢邊框。二墩子高浮雕雙朝螭龍紋，上植立柱，柱頭雕蓮花紋，兩邊抵夾透雕站牙，與柱墩間縧環板透雕螭虎龍紋呼應，下裝螭虎龍紋壺門輪廓披水牙子。精雕細鑿，十分精緻。

案屏除了體積較小，適合放置於桌案上之外，與大型放地上座屏的構造沒有兩樣。案屏有插屏式，又有與底座相連，而不是可裝可卸的結構兩種。
