There are chips and cracks to the rim, the most severe 0.2 cm to the upper rim. Age cracks and other surface wear.

此件筆筒紋理生動美麗，做工精緻。筒身上寬向下微斂，口緣打窪，上沿起闊邊線，底部雕刻成如底座的裝飾線腳。

筆筒的主要功能是讓毛筆豎立倒放，以保護纖細的筆尖不受壓損。精製如此，超越其功能成為文房中的雅器。
