Colour and Clarity: According to the AGL report, the rubies are natural, of Burmese origin, with no gemmological evidence of heat. Please refer to report for more details. In our opinion, the rubies are medium to medium deep intense red colour with slight purplish tint, and nice spready stones. One with colour zoning which is typical to natural ruby. Under the 10x loupe inspection, there are typical natural inclusions with some surface reaching, some chips and minor abrasions but not noticeable to the naked eyes unless with close up inspection. The diamonds are I to J colour, VS to SI clarity. Condition: Vintage platinum and karat gold mount shows signs of normal wear commensurate with its age. Minor servicing recommended, otherwise in very good overall condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
