Condition

The axe is broken across and reattached. There is a diagonal line visible on both sides starting at the edge of one side and extending into/through the stone, extending further on one side. There is a ca. 1 x 0.5 cm large old chip to one corner of the blade (visible in the catalogue illustration). There are encrustations on both sides of the axe and russet iron stains on one side.
