Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good vintage condition with scuffing and scratches consistent with use and age. Coin edge bezel still crisp and well defined. Some oxidation along adjoining areas of case band which may benefit from cleaning. Crystal has scuffing with three small scratches at the center. Dial has beautiful and even patina. numerals and hands are no longer luminescent but have developed a very attractive tan patina overall. Hands have some oxidation from age. Movement in excellent condition. Chronograph function working properly.

寶璣於1954年開始生產「TYPE XX」型號腕錶，不久便成為其最受歡迎的戰後飛行員腕錶型號。此型號腕錶具有特殊的飛返計時功能，法國空軍將其稱為「retour en vol」，飛行員僅按一次按鈕便可以馬上重新開始計時功能。
「TYPE XX」型號共有三代，第一代於1950年代投入生產，此腕錶便是當中之一；第二代於1970年代面世，是改良過的「平民版」；第三代現仍在發售當中，型號為「TYPE XX Aeronaval」。
此枚腕錶的特殊之處在於其中一個小錶盤顯示15分鐘計時功能，而一般空軍腕錶均顯示30分鐘計時。
