The movement working at the time of cataloguing. The tropical dial is discolored, very slightly glowing, with some areas around 9 with a different reflection probably due to the adherence of the Plexiglas. The white dial with a broken foot. The modern dial in good condition and still glowing. The hands probably changed and glowing. The case in good condition with some scuffs and scratches to the bezel at 9 and to the band at 9 too. With the usual scuffs and scratches throughout due to age and use. Fascinating piece. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense. *The strap is unsigned but probably original. *

Bettarini Panerais是沛納海品牌旗下最重要的錶款之一，對品牌的形象和款式影響深遠；它們全為原型錶款，已知存世品非常罕見，每枚均有細微差別。

Bettarini Panerai錶殼分別以鈦金屬及銅製造。圓形銅錶殼的錶冠護肩可移動，配素面旋轉錶圈。鈦金屬款備固定斜面錶冠護肩及旋轉錶圈。兩款原型錶均採用沛納海專利錶冠鎖定系統、素黑錶盤、夜光12、3、6、9及夜光條狀時標並搭載ETA自動上鏈機芯。

本拍品品相極佳，附帶三款不同錶盤：第一款為漸變色（tropical patina）；第二款為白色底彩繪黑色阿拉伯數字及條狀時標；第三款較新，錶盤呈棕色，與第一款顏色相似。此外，本拍品錶圈造型與別不同，備三角形及夜光珍珠。

本品附一個具Alessandro Bettarini雕刻名牌的錶盒、沛納海2014年5月簽發的完整修復報告；報告共13頁，仔細分析此錶，並形容其為一枚「具歷史的原型錶」。
