Condition
The movement is running and functions in working condition at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Please note that the 30 minute and 1/10 second registers don't reset to zero and need to be adjusted at the buyer's expense.
The dial in very good condition, with a very minor and nearly invisible mark in the 1/10 second register. The case in good condition, with many light scuffs, indentations and scratches throughout from use.
The chronograph function: the upper pusher to start and stop the chronograph, the lower for the split and reset. The 1/10 second division is indicated only when the chronograph is stopped.
For the split, press the upper pusher to start, then press the lower one to "freeze" then press the lower pusher again to restart and the hands will continue like they hadn't stopped. Then press the upper pusher to stop and the lower one to reset.
