Condition
The movement is running and chronograph function working at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial and hands in very good condition, the luminescent indexes and hands having taken on an attractive and consistent patina, the dial too now having a very subtle deep brown colour. case with signs of wear, dent to the bezel at 80, case polished slightly in the past, but consistent with the age of the piece, bracelet with scuffs and scratches throughout. Overall a wonderfully complete set with characterful aging.
