the handle cast with the head of Vairocana supporting a half vajra-shaped terminal, the shoulder of the bell cast with lanca characters within lappets, above garlands of beaded tassels and Buddhist symbols between borders of visvavajra
Condition
It is possible that the handle and the bell are a marriage. The colour of the patina and casting of the two sections are quite different. There is a tar-like substance evident at the join. There are some minor nicks and scratches throughout.
