the gently curved sides of each rising from a tapering foot to flaring rim, the interior painted with a five-clawed dragon chasing a 'flaming pearl' amongst fire scrolls, the exterior similarly painted, the base with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark
Condition
One dish with a circa 3cm area of the rim which has been lightly ground, and three small rim chips. The other with a 0.7cm area of frit along the rim and a small glaze pull next to it. There are minor glaze firing imperfections to both, such as pinpricks and iron spots.
