Condition

In excellent condition with the exception of minor nibbling along the extremities. The stone is of a brighter tone compared to the catalogue illustration.

本品匠心獨運,在玉石上刻畫出微型經典山水風景,且將玉材天然紋理巧妙融入設計之中。此類微型山水的視覺元素源自大自然,而風景中的人物花鳥等,皆為複雜廣袤的宇宙及其吉祥景象的一部分(見Jessica Rawson,,《China The Three Emperors 1662-1795》,倫敦,2005年,第358至361頁)。本品山水景緻或取靈感自東海蓬萊島。

乾隆時期,玉雕創作逐漸轉變為立體微型山水雕刻,多種形狀及尺寸一應俱全;台北故宮博物院藏有一例,曾於「宮廷之雅:清代仿古及畫意玉器特展」中展出,台北,1997年,編號40;北京故宮博物院藏一例,載於「《故宮博物院藏文物珍品大系:玉器(下)》,北京,2008年,圖版53;巴黎蘇富比另於2013年12月12日售出一例,編號100。
