- soapstone
carved seated with its right knee raised, wearing a long flowing robe open at the chest and incised with a floral patterned edge, its right hand resting on the raised knee, and its left holding a brush, the stone of greyish beige colour, oval base incised in gilt
Condition
There is restoration to the left hand of the figure and the handle of the whisk. There is also three bruises to the underside of the base.
