carved standing beside a boy with a recumbent deer behind, his left hand holding a staff tied with a double gourd, with a bat perched on gnarled lingzhi sprigs around his back, the stone of a pale celadon tone suffused with russet inclusions
Condition
The figure is in overall good condition. There are a few minor nicks along the edges and extremities, and the base of one foot has been polished. The actual colour is more green compared with the catalogue illustration.
