the rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, freely painted to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a galloping qilin, encircled by four detached grape vines below a trellis band, the exterior similarly decorated with a lotus scroll
Condition
The dish is generally in good condition, except a three-point hairline star crack to the interior just under the qilin's belly, the longest branch measuring 2.5cm. General glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots, kiln grits and glaze inconsistencies. Minor surface wear.
