of compressed form, raised on a short, slightly flared foot and rising to an everted rim, the sides cast with opposing lion-head handles, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark
Condition
The censer has extensive surface scratches, some minor casting flaws, and small dents to the rim, the body and the foot. The rims and the extremities are rubbed, with some uneven patination.
