painted to the interior with a central foliate panel enclosing a peacock perched on a flowering branch and a butterfly in flight, encircled by a pink cellular border with four cartouches depicting peonies, the rim with a trellis band
Condition
There are two extremely faint rim hairlines (approx. 3cm), evident under UV light but only just visible to the naked eye. There are general light enamel wear and minor glaze firing imperfections (e.g. glaze pulls and frits around the exterior).
