the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a flared rim, painted to the interior with a lady standing by precious objects supported on cragged rocks and a table, looking at a small boy behind in a fenced garden, the reverse with cottages sheltered amongst rocky mountains, the base with a beribboned lozenge within a double-circle
Condition
The dish has a ca. 1.5cm rim hairline and another shorter one near it. There are minor enamel loss, particularly to the blue enamels (e.g. blue vase next to the lady). There is general fritting to the rim, as characteristic of the period and shallow foot chips.
