the curved shaft carved with archaistic C-shaped scrolls to the top face, terminating in a dragon head with bulging eyes and menacing teeth, the reverse carved with a round knop for attachment, the stone of pale celadon-white tone; together with an archaistic rectangular jade sword slide, carved to the top surface with rows of bosses above a taotie mask, the stone of pale celadon-white tone with russet inclusions
Condition
Both belthook and sword slide are in very good condition with the exception of a tiny nick to the edge of the underside of the slide.
