skilfully worked in the form of a baluster vase resting on a splayed foot tapering to a waisted neck and gently flared mouth, the neck flanked by a pair of elephant-head handles suspending a loose ring, the exterior of the body decorated with a frieze of lotus blooms borne on curling leafy scrolls, the neck bordered with pendent leaves, all between incised key-fret bands encircling the mouthrim and footrim, the cover similarly detailed with a key-fret band along the rim and surmounted by tapering sides with lotus scrolls and a finial exquisitely depicted as a hollow lotus bud, all supported on a circular stand, the top with a medallion reticulated with foliate scrolls, the rounded sides similarly reticulated with foliate motifs and ending in cusped edges and five short splayed ruyi-shaped feet, the stone of a rich spinach-green colour accented with milky inclusions and further mottled with dark and white speckles

The vase, cover and stand are in overall good condition with just expected insignificant bruises and nicks to the extremities.
