- porcelain
heavily potted with low rounded sides supported on a straight foot, the exterior of the thick walls decorated in cobalt blue with six sprays of fruit comprising peach, pomegranate, loquat, grape, persimmon and longan, all above a band of radiating lotus lappets, the footrim picked out with evenly spaced detached sprays of florets, all between double-line borders encircling the rim and foot, inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character horizontal reign mark below the double-lined rim

Condition
The bowl is in perfect structural condition with a fair amount of wear to the glaze, especially to the interior and the mouthrim.

宣德朝燒製了一批如此盌外壁飾吉祥花果紋的大盌，關於此類青花大盌之介紹，見本拍賣中另一例，繪以牡丹，拍品編號3631。類似傳世宣德花果紋大盌尺寸由26及30公分不等，為清宮舊藏，錄於《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集：青花釉裏紅（上）》，上海，2000年，圖版145；一藏台北故宮博物院，錄於《明代宣德官窰菁華特展圖錄》，台北，1998年，圖版47；一例為大維德基金會收藏，現存大英博物館，見《Oriental Ceramics. The World's Great Collections》，卷6，東京，1982年，編號98；另一例藏華盛頓佛利爾美術館，曾展於《Ming Porcelains in the Freer Gallery of Art》，史密森尼學會，華盛頓，1953年，編號10。
明御窰遺址出土殘件，可作比較，錄於陸明華，《上海博物館藏品研究大系．明代官窰瓷器》，上海，2007 年，圖版3-121；一例為日本戶栗收藏，售於倫敦蘇富比2004年6月9日，編號16，錄於《明清の美術》，東京，1982年，圖版6及《瑯環琳瑯．松竹堂中國御窰瓷器珍藏》，香港，2016年，圖版8；吳賚熙舊藏一件廣為人知（至1937年），後分別由 L.F.
