藥山惟儼禪師一夜登山徑行，忽雲開見月，大嘯一聲，應澧陽東九十里許。居民盡謂天上，明晨迭相推問，直至藥山徒眾，曰：昨夜和尚山頂大嘯。朗州刺史李翱贈詩，曰：選得幽居愜野情，終年無送亦無迎；有時直上孤峰頂，月下披雲嘯一聲。
百然仁兄大雅。癸亥春。袌鋗吳徵。
