註：白石作畫，筆下勤快，產量極豐，選用材料，素不講究，惟取絹素者，極稀。本幅以葦草螃蟹入畫，構圖簡約，垂葦疏落，蟹行擁聚，疏密相間，發墨效果隨絹料材質，濃淡深淺，尤見明顯，一動一靜，更形活潑生動。畫上未具年款，以畫風及書體視之，似屬二十年代初期所出。
