「杰平收藏」近代名家畫（編號1233-1235）

本輯出自國民政府資深外交官陳質平收藏。陳質平（1906-1984），廣東文昌人。畢業於南京中央大學，上世紀三十年代從事教育工作，後投身政界，抗戰期間，先後出任軍事委員會西南運輸管理處處長、中緬運輸管理處處長（駐仰光），主持滇緬公路事宜。

四十年代起，處理涉外事務為主，先後派駐緬甸、印度等地。抗戰勝利後，轉事外交，先後出任菲律賓、伊拉克、約旦、阿聯酋、利比亞、墨西哥等國大使。一九六三至七一年間擔任出席聯合國大會的中華民國代表團代表。七一年卸任駐墨西哥大使後赴美國定居。一九七二年後獲聘為總統國策顧問、外交部顧問。在其公職生涯中，共獲中華民國政府及駐任國頒授勳章廿多枚。一九八四年病逝於美國加州。

陳氏服役外交逾三十載，雖非專事收藏，對藝術卻頗感興趣，好與文藝界往來，屢得佳作，如張大千〈蜀山春曉〉（見香港蘇富比，二○一一年四月，中國書畫拍賣，編號1256），即其五十年代沒骨青綠山水之代表作。又如同籍廣東之趙少昂，貽贈作品亦夥，集中於六十年代中後期，題材遍及花鳥草蟲，皆設色鮮麗，狀物栩栩如生，屬精心所製。見諸本輯，足可証之！
