春風澹宕無些個,晚歲韶華似水流;
試數故交猶幾輩,漫云餘緒亦千秋。
投荒袛欲埋名姓,混俗從教喚馬牛,
珍重音書相慰勉,與君風雨許同舟。
春間答濟遠一首,頃寫此老松偃蹇二老槃礴之圖,雖形貌不同,而風神骨氣,有絶相似處,因書畫上。己亥嘉平月,大千居士爰。

註:一九六○年五月,大千先生應邀在法京國家畫廊舉行近作展,展品卅幀,題材廣涉山水、花卉、人物,其中不乏中堂大幅,以一九五九年所出居多。是時正值潑墨潑彩法醞釀之際,故展品取大寫意法為主,即使寫人物亦出諸減筆,線條簡練,重神不重形,蓋畫家因眼力體力所限,難效昔時盛年之工筆細描。惟本幅寫蒼松高士,狀物寫人,於老筆披紛中,絲毫不苟,粗中有細,筆下高士,性格神情,盡見於開臉描劃中,所倚老松,姿態奇崛,粗幹如椽,橫出斜伸而枝梢屈曲呈下垂之狀,似虬龍矯捷盤旋,遽然回首,而通體如披麟甲,狀若遐齡之物,如斯細緻處理,在同期作品中堪稱異數。

大千以二老入圖者,如黃山二老、二老觀瀑等,圖中人物多以他與仲兄善子之聯袂出遊為題材,寄寓思念手足之情。本幅從所錄七律一首,可知人物身分轉易,所記者,乃追憶與老友王濟遠之往事。

王濟遠(1893-1975),早歲參加天馬會,曾任教於上海美專,後赴巴黎、東京研習美術。他享譽滬上藝壇,與善子、大千昆仲早有訂交。一九四一年赴美定居,辦學,傳授畫藝。晚年作品甚少公開,卻於一九七○年與大千合辦展覽,為期兩年,由此可見交情甚篤。大千移居巴西後,常赴美探望友好,與王氏往來甚密。本幅所錄七律乃是年春答濟遠者,詩中內容慨歎彼此寄居異域,知交寥寥無幾,故互通音訊,各致問候,即可告慰矣。

畫中高士,或結髻,或裹巾,互倚蒼虬,一側身躺卧,手執塵拂,一攏袖抱膝,正面而坐,似閒話雲煙故事,無慮世俗之憂,故題曰「雖形貌不同,而風神骨氣,有絶相似處」,正是大千、濟遠兩人異地敍舊之寫照。
