註：「祝壽」乃白石老人最受歡迎的畫題之一，蓋因畫名享譽京華，且遐齡身健，筆墨仍無荒率，故求畫者盈滿，訂畫作壽禮。桃實乃中國文化中長壽之象徵，白石遂好引此入畫，或輔以佳釀，或以竹籃盛之，或襯繁枝密葉，或配以別種吉祥物，令觀者悅目怡心。
本幅桃實兩雙，綠葉為伴，其色鮮艷欲滴，傍置尚未開封之酒甕，兩者相輔相成，佈局見均勻穩重，亦喻多壽有酒之意。酒甕以沒骨法出之，染赭色，間有留白，以示外沿受光處，外繫草繩，濃墨勾出，見物體之質感。白石畫桃取法缶老甚多，惟筆墨活潑剛勁，用色豐富鮮活，實青出於藍矣。畫上未具年款，依畫風及題款書體判斷，應屬四十年代初期之作。
