關山月 廣州受降圖

款識：
民國卅四年八月十五日，日本正式宣告無條件投降，舉世歡騰，萬邦同慶。九月六日晨，由翼之將軍率領官員一百三十五人，分乘八巨機飛穗，為受降之前進指揮步隊。此舉為國史最光榮之一頁，因成斯圖以紀其事，工拙在所不計也。關山月並識。

鈐印：「關」、「山月」、「關山無恙明月長圓」。

-Signs of restoration can be found at the upper left corner and in the upper left section of the paper, where there appears to be paper tear and minor paper losses respectively. Light foxing throughout the paper, paper loss at the left of the bottom edge and at the top of left edge, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.

註：一九四五年八月十五日，經歷八年抗戰，日本宣告無條件投降。廣州乃日軍華南遣派軍司令部所在地，屬中國戰區之第二受降區，國民政府軍事委員會特組廣州前進指揮所，主理該區受降事宜。九月六日，由前進指揮所主任、中將高級參謀張勵率領人員官兵一百卅五人，自南寧分乘盟軍運輸機八架飛抵廣州白雲機場，接受投降。

關山月以本幅描述廣州受降之故實，取概括手法寫之，僅以點景標示五羊城名勝古蹟，圖構簡練，而機群如鐵鳥臨空，此亦其作品中鮮見者。題跋中「翼之將軍」，即張勵（1890-1952），湖南瀏陽人，幼定居廣州，從戎，曾參與「一．二八淞滬之役」、「閩變」及抗日戰爭等。四九年後，任廣東省交通廳副廳長。
