- Jade
of flattened baluster form, the waisted neck and rounded shoulders carved with dragon handles each suspending a loose ring, the sides carved in high relief with scrolling lotus above a band of lappets, with a band of descending archaistic leaves below the rim, the domed cover similarly carved with lotus, surmounted with a lion and cub finial, the stone of a white to pale celadon tone

Condition
This vase and cover is in good condition, but does have a very shallow chip re-polished to the foot rim (approx. 1.5cm long). There are also some minor nicks to the interior and exterior rims of the vase, and to the footrim and the cover.
