Condition
Repair to one ring and a possible replaced finial. Minor nicks to the rims of the vase and cover. There are some flaws to the stone to the lower area of the reverse of the vase.

本瓶碩大，器身暗刻描金，保存完好。藝匠施以兩金色調，尤見亮麗動人，和諧自然。
如此玉瓶佳器， 雕工精細，暗刻描金，極為罕有。參考一乾隆瓶例，一面飾相類描金山水圖，另一面題詩，現存北京故宮博物院，載於《故宮博物院藏品大系：玉器編10：清》，北京，2011年，圖版22。另見一瓶例，暗刻描金梅樹紋，屬英王御藏，載於Stanley Charles Nott，《Chinese Jade》，倫敦，1936年，圖版XCVIII；另一例飾蓮紋，售於紐約蘇富比1988年10月19/20日，編號289。
