Overall in good condition. There is light foxing scattered on the left and right margins of the painting, which can be improved with restoration. Overall hanging scroll dimensions: 173.5 by 61.5 cm; 38¼ by 24¼ in.

生於藝術古都金陵（現南京）的徐樂樂，慿藉著生動的想像以及幽默，以當代女性藝術家的身份詮釋中國傳統書畫，展現她獨一無二，極富藝術色彩的性格。此畫屬其早期作品，款識仿照徐樂樂最為鍾愛的畫家、明朝大師陳洪綬，其筆下怪異奇特的肖像畫尤其聞名。徐樂樂筆觸細膩，細節精緻，用色柔和，描繪了一幅被彎曲枝條盤繞的肅穆人像。凜凜朔風將仕女與古箏困於寒冬，生機盎然的樹枝將這一景象表現得栩栩如生。
