蓋伊．尤倫斯及米莉恩．尤倫斯夫人的收藏深而廣，他於一九八七年首次因工作踏足中國之後，開始了其收藏之路。他們在中國逗留的時間，周末均與藝術家在一起。當時，收藏藝術風氣尚未形成，這讓尤倫斯爵士得到難得的收藏良機，把一些藝術家早期創作，具備文獻價值的作品盡收在其珍藏之中。尤倫斯爵士自此一直豐富其當代中國藝術品的收藏，二〇〇七年更於北京798藝術區建立以自己名命的藝術中心，並一直支持及持續收藏知名及新銳的中國藝術家。今次所有來自蓋伊．尤倫斯及米莉恩．尤倫斯夫人收藏的拍賣淨收入將用於北京尤倫斯當代藝術中心作為二〇一六年展覽及公共項目經費。



今次拍賣，我們呈獻34件來自尤倫斯的重要收藏，其中早期當代中國藝術家包括顧德新、魏光慶、張健君等具文獻價值作品。同時，此專題亦包括王慶松、韓磊、榮榮、何岸等攝影藝術先鋒的代表作，年輕一代的新冒起藝術家則包括薛鋒、郭鴻蔚、鳥頭、蔣鵬奕及陳維等，當然亦包括名知藝術家如張曉剛、楊少斌及尹秀珍等。
