五百梅花草堂圖。巽堪先生屬題，庚午試燈之夕，群碧鄧邦述篆。

款識：
五百梅花草堂圖。戊辰夏四月，少雲樊浩霖寫。

題跋：
〈蔡巽堪〉
乙丑秋，挈眷歸里，僦居大石頭巷寓廬，有梅五百株，花時香雪滿庭，霏散几席，放焉坐嘯，忽忽兩度見南枝開謝矣。戊辰上元，□隱冰闇舲詩侶虞，九珠、省安、艮廬、君謨、遲鴻、守然、霜厓集草堂看梅，感賦長歌徵和。

上款：「巽堪」即蔡晉鏞（1877-1947後），字云笙，號雁村，蘇州人。晚清舉人，早歲留學日本，返國後從事教育，創辦蘇州公立第一中學堂，即草橋中學，吳湖帆、葉聖陶、顏文樑皆其學生。他工詩詞，擅音律，與吳梅、鄧邦述等詞家常有唱和。有〈雁村詞〉等詞集傳世。
