-Horizontal paper crack could be found at the upper and lower section of the painting. Paper colour slightly greyish due to age and dust, which could be improved by restoration. Generally in fair to good condition.

註：本幅寫於嘉慶二十四年（1819），正值畫家創作盛年。圖中見雨餘成瀑自巖中瀉下，高士靜觀飛泉垂落。結構不趨繁密，惟層次規整，平實中經營用心，運筆厚重，設色沉著，與其一貫表現性較強的手法有異，從中流露了取法沈周的痕迹，也反映了「京江畫派」與「吳門畫派」在藝術上淵源有自的關係。顧氏對石田畫法浸淫頗深，如嘉慶二十五年（1815）寫成〈瓜州徐氏十六景〉冊中，部份即變化自石田名迹〈東莊圖〉冊。

又本幅出自香港資深收藏家「二知軒」主人舊藏。其眼光、品味向為仝道推許，古代書畫庋藏極豐，尤以清人楹聯，蔚然大觀，先後借展於各大博物館。清中葉名家之作，亦為其注目範圍，京江諸家即其一例。顧弢庵本幅保存尚佳，惟署款位置略有搬移，似原題具上款，釋出時挖去，遂將畫家落款稍向右移，補其位置，雖有此改動，毋損其藝術價值。
