丁亥十二月三十日，陸抑非、朱梅邨、張子清、俞子才、吳少蘊，集梅景書屋合作，吳湖帆補壽石並識。
戊子二月奉贈綬蘅道兄先生雅鑒。湖帆重題。

〈吳〉 「吳湖颿」、「梅景書屋弟子」、「倩盦」。
〈俞〉 「子才」。

註：湖帆先生畫藝播揚遐邇，投其門下者眾，俱學有所長，參與滬上舉行「梅景書屋同門書畫展」。師生既有合繪作品，又或同門合寫，老師題字，多作祝壽、賀歲，或特殊場合下貽贈摯交。
本幅寫於丁亥歲除，以壽石、銅皿、如意、牡丹、水仙、靈芝等案頭清供之物入畫，皆喻意吉祥，切合大字篆書「大富貴亦壽考」之題旨，正是民國時期滬上畫壇流行致賀新春之題材。畫面諸物佈置井然，色繽紛而不穠艷，古樸中別具清新氣象，正是梅景書屋入室弟子門精心所出。寫畢，湖帆再添題檢贈好友。上款「綬蘅道兄先生」乃其舊交，一九四三年已有〈玉泉千尺〉精品送贈，收錄於是年賀湖帆五十大壽之〈梅景畫笈〉中。
