月魄羞團扇，羅衣掩曉風；
秋江有明鏡，迴照玉玲瓏。

上款：「巨來」即「安持精舍」主人，近代著名篆刻家陳巨來（1905-1984）。
註：陳巨來治印深為時人所賞，舉凡書畫以至收藏界，均好用其印。謝稚柳中歲之姓名及室號印，不少即出其刀下，故多精繪書畫回贈，尤以五十年代中期至六十年代初之成扇，多書畫相配，甚或兩面作畫，彌足珍貴。
本幅未署年，按畫上花鳥之精細工緻及書體風格，應屬畫家盛年所製，約在六十年代初期。畫材選取張大千專用之扇箋，夾層印有「蜀人張善子畫扇」及「大風堂」字樣，蓋「大風堂」室號乃張氏昆仲共用，而張、謝乃摯交，文房工具間有供謝氏使用，本幅扇箋即其一。
