1961-5年間在孟買購自一尼泊爾藝商。藏家為化學家，定期前往孟買公幹。
Condition
The thangkas are in very good condition. The colours are very fresh. There are a few expected loose thread and minor occasional srains but overall the whole set has been very well preserved. One of the lacquer scroll mount end of the thangka no.9 is missing. All the others are complete.

據其中兩幀唐卡題記，此組唐卡為民國時期，中華民國杭州織造廠為紀念班禪喇嘛圓寂，所製巨幅唐卡之殘片。此類唐卡依循十八世紀納塘寺所製唐卡風格，並以木刻板畫大量複製。可參考一例，薩迦．班智達刺繡唐卡，藏於西藏布達拉宮，錄於 David Jackson，《A History of Tibetan Painting》，維也納，1996年，頁237，圖118。另可比較三例，售於香港蘇富比2016年6月3日，編號759。
