sturdily potted, carved to the interior with a scholar's rock issuing plantain leaves in front of a low fence, surrounded by scrolling flower blossoms at the cavetto and crashing waves at the rim, the underside similarly decorated, covered overall with an olive-green glaze, save for an unglazed ring to the base burnt orange in firing, Japanese wood box
Condition
The charger is in overall good condition except for a small C-shaped restored area with spray covering approx. 6 cm to the mouthrim at 2 o'clock. There are also some typical surface scratches and expected firing imperfections.
