the ovoid body decorated with a continuous scene of an official listening to a messenger in a garden surrounded by ladies and attendants, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark
Condition
There are a few light scratches to the surface glaze and small losses or typical rubbing to the enamels, but overall the jar is in very good condition. The jar originally had a cover which is now missing.
