finely cast in the form of an alm bowl, with a tapered body rising up to a rounded shoulder below a tapering rim, the exterior decorated with an ethereal landscape detailed with verdant trees, ruyi-shaped clouds and cranes, all against a diapered ground, the base with a two-character Wenming mark
Condition
The alms bowl is in overall good condition. There is expected wear and rubbing to the gilding, to the mouthrim and footring, as well as the relief on the exterior, as visible in the catalogue photo.
