well hollowed, of compressed rounded form, finely carved in low relief on each side with a blooming stylised lotus encircled within a foliate roundel, the pale grey translucent stone with occasional honey brown inclusions
Condition
It is in overall good condition with a minute nick to the inner mouthrim and a tiny flake to the body. The base has possibly been slightly polished down. The actual stone, with natural veining and inclusions, is of a pale brown tone, slightly richer than that of the catalogue illustration.
