The two stools are generally in good condition. Some sections have been replaced including the two circular tops which were originally made in rattan, as well as at least two and probably several other of the ruyi-shaped feet as can be expected for this type of stools. A curved section of one of the lower rail on one stool also bears a different patina / grain and is likely to also be a later replacement. Overall the pair remains extremely attractive and in excellent presentation‎ state.
