the rectangular seal surmounted by a finial well carved in the form of a pair of mythical beasts confronting each other strenuously, the stone of a pale orange colour with white and salmon inclusions

Condition
The seal is in overall good condition. One corner of the face has possibly been slightly polished to conceal an earlier nick. The catalogue illustration is slightly redder than the actual colour of the stone.
