the first with a bulbous body tapering to a long neck and surmounted by a wider everted rim, covered overall save for the footring with a greenish-grey glaze suffused with fine crackles; the second with the exterior modelled after overlapping petals, covered overall with a celadon glaze suffused with a network with crackles

The vase has some frittings with minute losses and small areas of glaze bruises to the rims of the mouth. The vase is otherwise in overall good condition except for some other typical firing imperfections. It is of a greener tone than that of the catalogue illustration. The bowl has been slightly polished overall, particularly to the mouthrim. There are also some expected firing imperfections, including two flakes to the unglazed footring.
