As noted in the catalogue description, the bottom of the vase is not original and there is filler around the base where the bottom meets the body. There is a small repair to the side of the bottom, which is attached to the body using small screws. The enamel on the surface has small scattered loses, some filled. There is a shallow 1.5 cm shallow chip just below the shoulder and the expected pitting to the surface. There are cracks around the neck and the lining of the neck may be later.
